Sophia Dion was a budding star before she reached her teen years and she possesses a musical presence that defies her age. Just 14 years old, Sophia Dion is already a true rising star. Uniting folk, country and pop influences, Sophia’s singer /songwriter musical style has been influenced by KT Tunstall, Jason Mraz, Ingrid Michaelson, Colbie Caillat, and Sara Bareilles. Sophia was recently named one of Utah’s six prodigies by Salt Lake Magazine. She sang the National Anthem for the Men’s and Women’s US Olympic trials for ski jumping aired on NBC. While her musical soul is rooted in the guitar, Sophia’s musical repertoire includes stand-up bass, piano and ukulele. She is currently writing and co-writing new material and looking forward to get back in the recording studio soon.
