She is a cowgirl through and through, growing up on a dairy farm in Idaho and entertaining her entire life.
John Wayne Schulz was born on September 29, 1987, in Columbus, Montana. He hails from Karnes City, TX, where he grew up on an 800-acre ranch working cattle. To John, being an authentic cowboy is “not so much how you dress…it’s more about who you are inside. John Wayne first appeared on American Idol on February 2, 2011. When asked what brought him to Idol auditions, he said, “just fulfillin’ a promise” – to Momma!
Molly in the Mineshaft was founded in 2014 and is based out of Provo, Utah. They met while attending college. They play a fusion of styles including contemporary folk, bluegrass, jazz, celtic, and rock, revealing the band’s wide range of influences.
The Heber Valley Orchestra started in 2014 in response to the desires of musicians in the valley. 40 members hail from Heber City and surrounding communities-from Midway to Park City.
