AMBER CROSS ~ Los Osos, California
Upon first hearing the old-school, Country-Folk sound of this singer and songwriter, you might think you are listening to an archival Smithsonian recording. Amber writes from her own life struggles and experiences, delivering her stories with unforgettable power and emotion. Originally from Maine, Amber spent her early years surrounded by Gospel music in a small-town church where her father preached and her mother played piano. Today she resides on the central coast of California where she spends her days slopping hogs, herding chickens, wandering the hills and writing songs. Amber has opened for such artists as Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and Dave Stamey, and is currently working with a producer in Austin, TX on her next album. Her debut album You Can Come In received 5 Stars and CD of the Month in Country Music People magazine, UK, and also made Top-Tip on the EuroAmericana Chart.
