Singer/Songwriter Brenn Hill doesn’t just sing about the American West, he reveals its heart to anyone who will take the time to listen. Born into the 6th generation of a family anchored to the Ogden Valley of Utah, Brenn and his music revisit the many stories that come from the land with a fresh, contemporary, and personal twist. Home for the Hills is Hooper, a rural community in Northern Utah where Brenn resides with his wife, three children, and a ranch filled with horses.
Staying invincible is an underlying message in Brenn’s music and the indomitable Western spirit transcends death in the songs of his most recent releases, Rodeo Heaven (March 2012) and his first collection of Christmas music, North Pole Rodeo (December 2012). Both recordings feature live performances by Brenn surrounded by renowned folk and bluegrass musicians, some of which have traveled and supported Brenn on the road throughout his career.
Clear messages of hope and love abound in the messages that Hill weaves into his words and melodies about life, the land, livestock, and the undying traditions and values that stand relentless against the urban storm of today’s West. His songs give authentic insight to the West that he and so many others call Heaven.
Dynamic and engaging as a performer, Hill strives to bring his message profoundly to the hearts of his audience. He tours relentlessly to spread his music and is offered in a variety of acoustic configurations from solo to full ensemble.
