Where it all begins! Enjoy a delicious steak dinner with all the fixin’s add music, poetry and laughter and you’ve got yourself a perfect start to an enjoyable evening. The train promptly departs the Heber Depot at 12:30 pm for a ninety-minute round trip. You’ll enjoy spectacular scenery and the best in old fashioned western music. He played lead guitar in his father’s band from his early teen years. Honoring his late father, brothers Ben and Noel are blazing their own trail and their shows proved to be a favorite of the Gathering last year. This is Ned’s first time to the Heber Valley, but it’s not his first rodeo. He’s been singing and performing since he started his first band in Jr. High and by his teen years was playing drums for his famous Father, Chris leDoux. This show will prove to be one of the best in cowboy music as you tap your foot to all the great songs of the west. Brigid is a singer, songwriter, fiddler and poet and performs with contagious energy. Sourdough Slim is a favorite of the gathering and is a hoot to say the least. He’s a mighty cowboy singer, yodeler, storyteller as well as top notch on the accordion, guitar, ukulele and harmonica. Together there some mighty fine musicianship accompanied by plenty of good ale’ cowboy humor.

Raised on an Oklahoma Ranch singing with her siblings Pake and Reba, then spending some years touring with her famous sister, Susie struck out on her own. She has focused her musical talents on the country gospel side of American roots music. An excellent musician with a voice to match, Susie is an award-winning performer and is an inspiration to many as she sings from the heart. With her amazing ability to connect with her audience, she has a way of making you feel like old friends! As the festival draws to a close with our traditional cowboy church and the passing of the hat, all proceeds help fund scholarships to local youth, school organizations, cancer awareness and other charities.
